NumaSelf was born from my own struggle with therapy.
I remember wondering, "Will therapy even help?" And even if it could, finding the right therapist felt confusing and heavy. I was scared of being judged, of choosing wrong, of sharing too much and still feeling alone afterward.
I wished there was a place where getting help didn't feel like more work… where someone could guide me with care, understand me, and hold my doubts.
So I created NumaSelf — a safe space for anyone who's ever felt overwhelmed, unsure, or afraid to begin.
Here, you don't have to be certain. You don't have to have everything figured out. You just have to show up as you are. We'll walk the rest with you.
I used to freeze up whenever I tried to talk about my feelings. With NumaSelf, the first check-in felt like someone already knew the weight I was carrying. I didn’t have to pretend or find the perfect words. It finally felt safe to just be me.
